Our diversity and inclusion action plan - annual update
Reliant Healthcare reviews and updates its diversity and inclusion actions at least annually.
In 2024–2025, our key actions included:
- maintaining membership with Pride in Health + Wellbeing;
- achieving HWEI Gold Tier recognition;
- providing LGBTQ+ Awareness and Allyship training;
- making LGBTQ+ inclusion and cross-cultural awareness resources available to staff;
- maintaining our Diversity & Inclusion Policy and Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan;
- improving website accessibility through accessibility tools and text-to-speech functionality;
- continuing to support culturally safe, respectful and person-centred care for clients, families and representatives.
Our current focus areas are:
- strengthening inclusive and accessible communication;
- supporting staff capability in LGBTQ+, CALD and culturally safe care;
- reviewing policies and internal communications through a diversity and inclusion lens;
- continuing to improve accessibility across our website and staff resources;
- using feedback from staff, clients, families and stakeholders to guide improvement.

Reliant Healthcare is committed to respecting human rights in the way we deliver care, employ and support workers, engage with clients and families, and work with suppliers, partners and the broader community.
Reliant’s commitment to human rights is guided by:
